It has good thermal insulation performance and low thermal conductivity, and is a good thermal insulation material. Mineral wool ceilings are mainly used in conference halls, libraries, concert halls, high-end hotels, gymnasiums, hospitals, office buildings, production workshops and other places with sound absorption requirements. Because mineral wool is an inorganic material, it will not burn. It is very low, so the mineral wool board can meet the requirements of non-combustible B1 level. Rock wool board is mainly composed of inorganic fibers such as rocks to form a porous connection structure, which determines that rock wool board is a fire-proof, flame-proof, heat-insulating, and sound-absorbing material. The chemical properties of rock wool are stable, the pH value is 7-8, neutral or weakly alkaline, and metal materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum are not corroded. Therefore, rock wool board is mostly used for thermal insulation of external walls of industrial buildings. Mineral wool board and rock wool board are two completely different materials in terms of decorative effect. They have great differences and applications. We should distinguish these two materials in use to avoid making jokes.
